Ordering time is 8-12 weeks for furniture that requires building, however we
have approximately 7000 square feet of stock furniture that is readily
available to take home the same day. Please keep in mind that delivery date
may fluctuate, due to unforeseen circumstances in production. The majority
of stock furniture is unfinished so customers can choose their own stain
preference to best suit your décor.
We require a 25% deposit at time of order and the balance is due upon pick
up.
We accept cash, cheque with 2 pieces of I.D, debit card,
MasterCard, Visa and American express.
Conditions of Sale
All sales final, exchange or credit note only on unfinished goods with proof
of purchase within 30 days.
When we proceed with writing an order and a deposit is given the order is
then a binding contract and if cancelled 50% of deposit is retained and the
other 50% is applied to store credit.
Warranties
1 year warranty applies only to wood imperfections or defects. Warranties on
finishing are for defects in finishing materials and not normal wear and
tear. Original invoice needed for warranty work. It is the responsibility of
the customer to bring back any furniture that requires warranty work.
All wood used in production of furniture is kiln dried down to 6% Once the
piece arrives in your home and goes through the winter months, if your home
doesn't have a humidifier that keeps the moisture in the air, then the air
pulls the moisture out of your furniture which may cause cracking or
shrinking. In the summer the moisture is absorbed back into the furniture
which may correct the cracking or shrinking. Therefore we strongly recommend
all homes to have a humidifier.
Delivery
Because we are a small family run business, we offer delivery to a limited
area. We deliver to Cambridge, Kitchener /Waterloo, Brantford, Paris, Ayr
and Guelph. We only have 1 driver, so it is the responsibility of the
customer to have someone on their end to help unload furniture. We can send
an extra person for an additional charge. Delivery rates vary.
Picking Up Furniture
When picking up furniture please remember to bring any packaging materials
you may require, such as blankets, tarps or rope, as the furniture is not
packaged or boxed.
Care for Finished Furniture
Lacquer cures 90% in the first 24 hours after being sprayed. It takes the
last 10% of the lacquer 30 days to fully cure.
We recommend that no hot items be placed directly on the furniture, use
coasters, hot pads for drinks and other items. Within the first 30 days of
finishing be careful not to cause abrasions with fingers, utensils, or
kitchen items. Don't use abrasive materials on furniture i.e.: chemicals.
Use soap and water for cleaning or Mennonite Furniture polish (Ask sales rep
for details) No furniture cleaner, especially ones containing silicone.
